This privacy policy sets out how the Small Shepherds Club collects and uses the information we collect from our members and visitors to our website. We do our very best to make sure that your privacy is protected.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.


Members

We collect the following information about our members using membership application and renewal forms - Contact details, membership status, preferences, payment method and flock details. 

We use this information to

  • help us manage the Club on a day to day basis
  • notify you of forthcoming Club events and other training opportunies
  • keep you up to date with news relevant to keeping a small flock of sheep

This information is accessible only to current Club Committee members. We will not give your details to another member without your permission. We do not share, trade or sell your details to any third party.

Updating your information

We will send you a membership renewal form annually. We use the information you provide on this to update your details. You can also contact us anytime by email, phone or letter to update your details.

Deleting your data

If you leave the Club you can ask us to delete your personal data. We will also delete personal data if you have not renewed your membership for five years.


Website

We do not collect personal information from visitors to our website. 

If you send us an email enquiry it will be sent to the private email address of the person you have chosen to contact. We will only use your contact details email to respond to your enquiry.


Cookies

We use Cookies to to help us understand our visitors and the content they are viewing so we can improve our website.  These are small text files placed on your computer by websites that you visit.They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. 

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (a service offered to websites all around the web by Google) to count visitors to our website. Google Analytics can also tell us things such as which pages are looked at the most and how long people stay on those pages, so that we can make sure our website is performing well and giving visitors the information they need.
