SSC is committed to providing a friendly, welcoming and safe environment for its members.
SSC fully supports an inclusive culture that promotes and values equality and diversity.
SSC will take into account the differing needs of members when arranging meetings so that as many members as reasonably possible can attend.
SSC will provide opportunities for children, young people and vulnerable adults to participate in events providing they are accompanied by a responsible adult/carer so that their needs can be met and their safety maintained in line with safeguarding principles.
All members, prospective members and visitors will be respected and treated equally regardless of their individual characteristics such as, inter alia, age, sex, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
SSC has a zero tolerance approach to all forms of discrimination, bullying, harassment, exclusion and prejudice.
Anyone with a complaint or who wishes to report an incident should notify the Club Secretary, in writing if possible. All such incidents or complaints will be dealt with seriously, confidentially and promptly by the SSC Committee.
